BEMIDJI, Minn. — Bemidji State University Cross Country travels to Jamestown, N.D. Friday for the University of Jamestown Jimmie Cross Country Invitational at Parkhurst Campground. The race is set for a 5:15 p.m. start.
Last weekend, the Beavers finished 16
th at the Augustana University Invitational in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Sophie Rylance led the Beavers with a personal-best time of 23:04.2, taking 91
st.
Jazzlyn Hanenberger also marked her best with a time of 24:01.4. Last week's race was the first 6K for the Beaver freshman class, which ended with three of five landing in the top 200.
To close out the regular season, the Beavers will travel to Winona, Minn. for the Winona State University Invitational on Oct. 23. Two weeks later, the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Championships are set to take place in Sioux Falls, S.D. on Nov. 7, followed by the NCAA Central Regional Championships, also in Sioux Falls, on Nov. 21.
