BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Women's Hockey team travels to Ridder Arena in Minneapolis, Minn., this weekend to compete in the Minnesota East/West Showcase.
 
The Beavers face University of Maine at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, before battling No. 3 University Minnesota at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11. Both games are non-conference contests. The showcase marks Bemidji State's first road trip of the 2026-27 season after opening the campaign with two home games against Minnesota.
 
Bemidji State and Minnesota will meet for the third time in 10 calendar days when they close the showcase Sunday afternoon. The Golden Gophers earned 5-2 and 5-3 victories over the Beavers on Oct. 2-3 at Sanford Center. Sunday's rematch will not count toward the Western Collegiate Hockey Association standings.
 
Both East/West Showcase games will stream live on B1G+, beginning with Bemidji State's 2 p.m. matchup against Maine on Saturday and continuing with Sunday's 2 p.m. game against No. 3 Minnesota. Sunday's contest will also air locally on FOX 9+, while live statistics for both games will be available through GopherSports.com.
