BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University junior forward
Oliver Peer earned his first Central Collegiate Hockey Association honor Monday afternoon after he was named the CCHA Forward of the Week for Feb. 6-7.

Peer led the Beavers to a series split with Ferris State University at Sanford Center by posting six points off three goals and three assists. He totaled three points in each game of the series becoming the first Beaver to record three or more points in each game of a series since Owen Sillinger (Feb. 14-5, 2020). Peer began the series factoring in on all three goals with a goal and two assists in Friday's 6-3 loss. He then factored in on three of the Beavers four goals including scoring twice and assisting on the game-winning overtime goal in Saturday's 4-3 win. Peer scored his 15th, 16th, and 17th goals of the season in the series, second most in the league. He finished the weekend with seven shots on goal, one block and won 64.1-percent of his face-offs (25-of-39).

He was joined by Michigan Tech's Jack Anderson (Defenseman), Bowling Green's Jacob Steinman (Goaltender) and St. Thomas' Nathan Pilling (Rookie) ass CCHA Players of the Week.

The Beavers now hit the road and travel to Mankato, Minn., to face-off against Minnesota State University, Mankato Feb. 13-14.
