ABERDEEN, S.D. — Bemidji State University Track and Field had a successful Thursday at the Dewey Donat Classic in Aberdeen, S.D., hosted by Northern State University.
The Beavers walked away from the meet with a school record, two facility records, two event wins, three NCAA Division II national rankings and eight personal-best results.
Allison LaVine and
Zayda Priebe earned first and third, respectively, in discus with LaVine marking the No. 17 throw in NCAA Division II at 47.48 meters and Priebe taking the No. 58 spot with 44.31 meters.
Trista Bilden also found a national mark, taking 85
th with a fourth-place shot put finish at 12.94 meters. LaVine, along with
Sophie Rylance, both earned event wins for the Beavers.
