Beavers travel to Mankato for MSU Open Saturday

BSU set to compete in MSU Open before schedule ramps up to full speed next week

BEMIDJI, Minn. — Bemidji State University Track and Field travels to Mankato, Minn. Saturday for the Minnesota State University Mankato Open. 
 
The day begins at noon with jumps and the 10,000-meter race. On the field side of things, all events will run sequentially starting with long jump, high jump, vaults, discus and javelin. On the track, the 10,000 kicks things off, followed by the 4x100-meter relay starting at 2 p.m. Steeplechase follows ahead of the standard preliminary races and finals. The day ends with the 5,000-meter and 4x400-meter relay.
