BEMIDJI, Minn. — The Bemidji State University Women's Soccer team looks to bounce back from its first loss of the season last weekend and begin Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play this weekend at University of Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State University, Friday-Sunday.
 
The Beavers (1-1-1, 0-0-0 NSIC) open the NSIC season Friday, September 11 at Sioux Falls (2-1-0, 0-0-0 NSIC) with kick-off scheduled for 7 p.m. BSU will then travel to Marshall, Minn., to face the Mustangs (0-2-1, 0-0-0 NSIC) Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Each match will be streamed exclusively on Midco Sports Plus with a direct link to watch the matches, here.
 
Bemidji State is 13-0-0 all-time against the Cougars and are 14-11-5 against the Mustangs.
 
Senior midfielder Ella Wade paces the Beavers in points through the team's first three matches totaling three points off a goal and an assist. She assisted on the Beavers' lone goal last weekend in their lone match against No. 5 Grand Valley State University in Mankato, Minn. She is followed by senior Madeline Davey and junior Maggie Kramer who have each scored a goal for the Beavers.
 
Junior Rozlyn Buettner has started all three matches for the Beavers in goal and has allowed three goals for a 1.00 goals against average and made 20 saves for an .870 save percentage. She ranks sixth and fifth in the NSIC in those categories, respectively. She is third in the NSIC averaging 6.67 saves per game.
 
The Beavers are tied for eighth in the NSIC having scored three goals on the season and are tied for sixth having allowed just three goals.
