SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Bemidji State University Cross Country placed 16th at the Augustana University Cross Country Invitational Friday morning. 
 
Sophie Rylance paced Bemidji State in the 6K, placing 91st in 23:04.2 with a 6:11.2 average mile. Brynn Beardsley followed among the listed Bemidji State finishers in 125th at 23:41.5, and Ava Parks placed 131st in 23:46.5, both experiencing their first collegiate 6ks. Jazzlyn Hanenberger finished 144th in 24:01.4, averaging 6:26.6 per mile.

The Beavers will now look towards next Friday as they travel to Jamestown, N.D. for the University of Jamestown Jimmie Invitational on Oct. 2. BSU will then race one more race, at the Winona State University Invitational on Oct. 23, before the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Championships on Nov. 7.
