One of seven Beavers to start in all 25 matches during the season... Led the team and the NSIC with 31 points off 14 goals and three assists... Tied for 28th in Division II in points... Led the NSIC with her 14 goals and was tied for 20th in DII... Her 14 goals are tied for fourth most in a single season at Bemidji State and 31 points tied for seventh... Scored six game-winning goals to lead the NSIC And tie for fifth in DII... Scored five goals during postseason play, all in consecutive games, for the most in program history... Totaled 90 shots, third most in a single season at BSU, to lead the conference and finish 13th in DII... Recorded the 13th hat trick in program history against Sioux Falls on Oct. 16... Scored a goal in 11 of the Beavers' 25 matches including five of BSU's seven postseason matches... Ended her career tied for the program's career goal mark with 49 and second with 114 career points... Program record holder in career game-winning goals (23), overtime goals (4), career postseason points (16) and tied for games played (92).

Is one of three players to start all 17 matches for the Beavers in 2021... Leads the team with 33 points on a career-best 16 goals and one assist... Tied for the NSIC's lead in goal scoring... Netted two goals on six occasions... Accounted for a league-best seven game-winning goals to rank among the nation's leaders... Was second on the team with 61 shots and 30 shots on goal... From Sept. 12 to Sept. 19, led BSU to a 3-0-0 record while scoring six of the Beavers' seven goals and assisting on the other... Registered a career-high five shots on goal Sept. 12 in a 3-2 victory over Northern Michigan.

• Fall NSIC All-Academic Team (All-Academic Team of Excellence)
COVID-19 season... Started each of BSU's matches during the shortened 2021 spring season... Led the Beavers with 10 points on a team-high four goals, while tying for the team's lead with two assists... Recorded the game-winning goal in each of BSU's three victories... Averaged a team-leading 3.33 shots per match... Totaled 10 shots with six shots on goal... Finished the season with three multi-point matches, which included a two-goal effort to lead BSU to a 6-0 win over MSU Minot (April 12)...Had her hand in six of the Beavers' 10 goals in 2021.

NSIC Offensive Player of the Week, Sept. 23

Wendt broke out in 2019, leading the team with a career-best 10 goals, including five game-winners, and four assists for 24 points... The sophomore accounted for nearly 42-percent of the Beavers’ goals scoring and 33-percent of the team’s points... She started 18-of-19 matches and logged 1,285 minutes... She finished the season second in the NSIC in goals scored, goals per game, game-winning goals, and fifth in points.

2018 (Fr)
Wendt totaled two goals and four assists for eight points and took 19 shots to rank sixth on the team and lead all BSU freshmen... Posted one game-winning goal... She played in 21 matches with five starts.

High School
A three-sport athlete at Mounds View High School... Participated in soccer, basketball, and golf for the Mustangs… A two-time captain of the MVHS golf team, she helped her team to the 2016 state tournament and is a two-time All-Suburban East Conference selection… A 2017-18 captain of the Mustangs’ girls basketball team, she became the 10th player in school history to earn a spot in the 1,000-point club and was a 2016-17 all-conference pick… Helped the Mounds View girl’s soccer team to a section final… Also a member of the White Bear Royals club, she led the team to a 26-8-9 record, netting 11 goals and six assists in 2017… Propelled her club team to a North C1 Division Championship, All-American Cup final, Puma Cup Champions Cup runner–up finish, USA Cup semi-final appearance, and an appearance in the state cup.

Sara Langlie Wendt was born October 27, 1999… Daughter of Jeff Wendt and Shelly Langlie… An 11-time academic letter winner and member of the National Honor Society… Is majoring in Biology with a minor is Psychology at BSU.
