An alum of BSU, Jesse Katz was hired as the Director of Annual Giving, Athletics/Beaver Pride Coordinator in July of 2022.
Prior to joining BSU, Katz spent the past seven years as a pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at various levels across the country.
Between 2018-2020, Katz was the Owner/Field Manager of the Ft. Lauderdale Knights, a baseball team in the prestigious South Florida Collegiate Baseball League. In his role, he was responsible for all major business and baseball operations for the organization, including; donor relations, corporate sponsorships, fundraising, marketing, and game day fan experience. He was responsible for developing relationships with multiple corporate sponsors and donors to better enhance the experience of his players.
A native of Deerfield, Ill., Katz earned a bachelor's degree in sport management from BSU in 2015. He was a member of the Beaver Baseball program for three years. Katz attained a master's degree in the art of leadership from Trinity International University.
Katz lives in Bemidji with his wife, Rebecca, and two dogs, Miz and Kiffin.
