Made two appearances in relief on the mound… Went 4.0 innings April 16 versus University of Sioux Falls with one strikeout and four hits allowed… Threw 1.1 innings April 22 against University of Minnesota Duluth without allowing a hit.

Prior to BSU: A 2015 graduate of Perham High School... A letter winner in baseball, football, and band in high school... Helped guide the Yellowjackets to two conference championships... Made the 2014 8AA All-Section Team as well as the 2014 and 2015 All-Conference and All-Section teams... Batted .381 career and .413 his senior year... Had a career 14 homeruns... Honored in Breakdown Sports USA Baseball.

Personal: Born Sept. 13, 1996… Son of Richard and Carmen Kruzel… Plans to major in wildlife biology at BSU.
