Prior to BSU: Led his the Northland Eagles to a 4-10 season his senior season… Earned a total of nine letters while in high school… Played in the 2009 VFW State Tournament… Was a National Honor Society member, Honor Roll and earned four academic letters.

Personal: Born April 27, 1993... Son Charlene Murphy and the late Tim Murphy... Majoring in social studies Education... Brother, Brian, played baseball at Bemidji State from 2010-11.
