Made his college debut for the Beavers April 15 against Augustana where he went 0-for-1.

Prior to BSU: Helped lead the Bemidji Lumberjacks to a 12-8 record his senior season… Captain of baseball and football team… Earned letters in baseball, hockey and football.

Personal: Born July 26, 1991... Son of Todd and Julie Hietala... Majoring in sport management with a minor in business administration.
