Prior to BSU: Lettered in baseball for the West Valley High School Wolfpack... Was named to the Mid Alaska All-Conference team his junior and senior seasons and was named to the all-tournament team in the same seasons... Played baseball at Dakota County Technical College (Rosemount, Minn.) in 2012 and 2013... In 2012 he pitched in 22.1 innings for the Blue Knights with a record of 1-3, an ERA of 9.27 and seven strikeouts.
