Bemidji State University

Eric Manz begins his second season as assistant athletic trainer at Bemidji State University in 2022-23. He joined Beavers Athletics in August of 2021 to work with the men’s hockey and baseball teams.

Manz joined Bemidji State after working with Merrimack College from 2015-21. His primary sports included men’s hockey and women’s cross country, while he also assisted with Merrimack’s 22 programs.

Manz earned a Master of Special Studies in sport psychology in 2015 from St. Cloud State University. He served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the Huskies from 2013-15, working primarily with women’s hockey. Manz also covered spring football, women’s tennis, men’s and women’s golf, and Nordic skiing.

Manz is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association (NATA) and is certified in CPR/AED.
