2017 (Jr.): Played in eight games for BSU... Helped drive BSU’s 35.3 points per game, which ranked third in the NSIC... Beavers offense also ranked third in the league with 202.5 rushing yards per game and fourth with 396.5 total yards per game... 2017 Fall Academic All-NSIC Team.

2016 (So): Played in 6 games... The Beaver offense ranked second in total offense (523.8) and ranked first in the NSIC for scoring offense totaling 547 points and averaging 45.6 per game... Finished third in both rushing yards per game (230.2) and passing yards per game (293.7)... Third in the conference in 4th-down conversions (54.2%).

2015 (Fr): Did not participate in any varsity activities.

2014 (RS): Sat out season as a redshirt.

Prior to BSU: Played defensive tackle for the Barnum High School Bombers… Recorded 10.0 sacks in 2013, which stood in the top three in the Duluth area… An all-conference selection in 2012 and 2013, helped guide the Bombers to section championships in 2010 and 2012 and Great Polar Football Alliance Red/Blue Conference Championships in 2012 and 2013… Named a team captain in 2013... A two-sport athlete, he lettered in football (3) and track (3)... A honor roll through prep career… Earned academic letters all four years… Member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born Feb. 2, 1996… Son of Leonard and Lea Youngberg… Plans to major in mathematics education.
