2011 (RS): Sat out enite season as a redshirt.

Prior to BSU: Helped guide the Goodridge-Grygla Blue Devils 9-man squad to a 7-0 (12-1 overall) record, a Top of State Conference championship and a trip to the state semifinals his senior season... Earned all-state honorable mention and was an Associated Press All-State Honorable Mention... Was also a two-time all-conference player and conference special teams player of the year... A key member of a defense that allowed just 12.5 points per game to rank tops in the conference... The three-sport athlete earned letters in football (four), basketball (three) and track (three)... Also excelled in the classroom as an A and B honor roll student... Was the teammate of fellow 2011 BSU addition, Chris Ostby and Robbie Miller.

Personal: Born May 15, 1993 in Theif River Falls, Minn... Son of Dan and Jean Schulz... Plans to study sport management.
