Prior to BSU: Pflum captained the Appleton East High School Patriots to a 3-6 overall and 2-5 Valley North Conference record his senior season... Was named second team all-conference as a running back his senior season after rushing 125 times for 718 yards (5.7 yards per carry) and six touchdowns to rank fifth in the conference in both yards and touchdowns.... Helped carry the load for the third best rushing offense in the conference... The two-sport athlete has earned five varsity letters, three from football and two from baseball... Pflum is an honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born July 9, 1993 in Appleton Wis... Son of Nick and Melissa Pflum... Plans to major in aquatic biology.
