2017 (Sr): Named to the NSIC All-Conference Second Team Defense... Played in all 11 games for the Beavers, tying for the team lead with five interceptions... Tied the program record with three interceptions in a single game at Minnesota Crookston (Sept. 30)... Totaled 38 tackles on the season with two for a loss and deflected 10 passes.
2016 (Jr): Played in all 12 games in his first season for the Beavers... Recorded 35 total tackles including 25 solo... Broke up 11 passes on the season recording a career high 4 vs Washburn in the 2016 Mineral Water Bowl (Dec. 3)... Set a career high in solo tackles with 4 twice during the season, last vs Northern State (Oct. 8)... Played in the 2016 Mineral Water Bowl game where the Beavers beat Washburn 36-23, being the first team in program history to win a post-season game.
Prior to BSU: Named 2015 All-GPAC honorable mention at Briar Cliff College.
High School: Won two letters in football and two letters in track at Alvin High School… Averaged 24.7 kickoff yards per return including a 78-yard return his senior season… Named male athlete of the year during his senior season for the Yellow Jackets.
Personal: Born July 13, 1995… Son of Collette and Eric Olszewki, Sr.… Proposed major in exercise science and psychology… Father, Eric Olszewski Sr., played minor league baseball… His brother, Gunner, currently plays defensive back for the BSU football team.
