Prior to BSU: Metag was a three-year starting fullback and an All-Wright County Conference selection for the Hutchinson High School football team… Served as the lead blocker for the Tiger running attack as a senior and ranked second on the team in carries and rushing yards… Was the team’s top ground gainer (497 yards) as a junior despite losing his season in the fifth game due to injury… Was a member of two Tiger Section 2AAAA title teams and was a member of Hutchinson’s perfect 13-0 state championship season in 2012… A three-sport athlete at Hutch, Metag earned three letters in football, three letters in track and field and one letter in basketball.

Personal: Born Oct. 6, 1994… Son of Ron and Nancy Metag… Has an interest in wildlife management and plans to major in biology at BSU.
