Biography

2011 (Student Assisant): Will serve as a student assistant coach for the 2011 season, helping with the linebackers. 

2010 (Jr): Started the first seven games at linebacker before suffering a career-ending injury... Totalled 21 tackles, 10 solo... Recorded six tackles for loss, which included 2.0 sacks, knocking back the opposing offense a total of 16 yards... Added a pass break-up... Was a 2010 Fall Academic All-NSIC Team member.
    Had a season-high six tackles (one solo) against Augustana (Sept. 11), with a sack and a pass break-up... Finished with five tackles (two solo) and a tackle for loss at Minnesota Duluth (Sept. 25)... Posted four games with at least three tackles... Got to the quarterback in the season-opener at Minot State (Aug. 26). 

2009 (So): Found himself in the linebacker rotation early as a sophomore... Played in 10 games making two starts for the Beavers... Ranked sixth on the team with 44 total tackles, which included 13 solo tackles... He added 7.0 tackles for loss, 3.0 quarterback sacks and a pass break up... Was a member of the NSIC All-Academic Team.
    Broke the steal on the 2009 camapign with four tackles (one solo) versus Minot State (8/27/09)... Posted five tackles, including two solo stops, 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack against Winona State (9/12/09)... Registered four stops with a sack and pass break up in his first start of 2009 (10/10/09)... Piled up a season-high seven tackles, including three solo, versus St. Cloud State (10/3/09)... Established new career-highs with 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks in the game... Matched a 2009-best seven stops (three solo) at U-Mary (10/31/09)... Did not play in the season finale.

2008 (Fr): Made an appearance in all 11 contests and started six as a redshirt freshman... Totaled 38 tackles (21 solo), 4.0 tackles for loss (-6) 1.5 sacks and a quarterback hurry in 2008... Was seventh on the team with 21 solo tackles... Finished fifth among his peers with 4.0 tackles for loss.
    Posted his first collegiate tackle in the 2008 home-opener versus Minnesota State (9/6/08)... Piled up a career-high 10 tackles at MSU-Moorhead (9/20/08)... Registered his first sack during a six-tackle outing versus Northern State (9/27/08)... Netted a season-high seven assisted tackles versus Minnesota, Crookston (10/18/08).

2007 (RS): Sat out entire season as a redshirt.

Prior to BSU: Earned three letters in football and two in soccer at Colony... Was named first-team all-conference and all-state at both defensive end and tight end in 2006; was named the 2006 Gatorade Player of the Year for Alaska and was the Alaska 4A Defensive Player of the Year... Set a state record with a 38-yard field goal in the championship game of the state playoffs... Finished senior campaign with 95 tackles, including 26 tackles-for-loss and 14 sacks... Forced three fumbles with two interceptions and six passes defended... Coached by Jamie Mayo.
