2016 (RS): Sat out the season as a redshirt.

High School: Earned letters in football, basketball and track at Clearbrook-Gonvick High School… Holds the school’s all-time record for total tackles and receiving yards in one game… Voted team captain in football and basketball by his peers… Named All-Top of the State Conference in basketball and track… Holds the school’s record in the 4x200 in track… Member of the honor roll throughout high school.

Personal: Born March 17, 1998… Son of Andrea and Troy Churness… Proposed major in criminal justice.
