2016 (RS): Sat out the season as a redshirt.

High School: Won two letters in football and one in baseball, track and golf at Elk River High School… Recorded 65 total tackles his senior season along with eight tackles for a loss and one fumble recovery… Racked up 11 total tackles in a single game twice… Named all-district first team… Selected captain and offensive player of the year by his peers during his senior season… Member of the honor roll.

Personal: Born April 16, 1998... Son of Kelli and Paul Hanson… Undecided major… Father, Paul, and uncle, Dave Hanson, played football at University of Wisconsin-River Falls… Uncle, Whitey Dovell, played football at the University of Maryland before coaching there for 15 years and moving on as an offensive line coach for the Denver Broncos, Baltimore Colts and Chicago Bears.
