Started the first four games at defensive tackle before suffering an injury that kept him off the field until the final two games of the season... Totaled nine tackles (two solo)... Added 2.0 tackles for loss (-3 yards), which included a half sack (-1 yard).
   Recorded three tackles (one solo), one of which was for loss (-1 yard), against Wayne State (Sept. 15)... Totaled three tackles in his return from injury against MSU Moorhead (Nov. 3)... Lone tackle in the season opener against Upper Iowa (Aug. 31) was first collegiate sack (-1 yard).
2011 (So): Stepped into the starting nose tackle position and earned Don Hansen All-Super Region Three Third Team and All-NSIC First Team honors... Played in 10 games, started eight, and totaled 24 tackles (four solo), including a tackle for loss (-1 yard)... A contributor to the No. 7 scoring defense in the nation.
   Posted a career-high seven tackles at University of Mary Oct. 22... Recorded three tackles including a tackle for loss at No. 16 Augustana College Sept. 10.
2010 (Fr): Saw the field in eight games as a reserve defensive lineman... Recorded eight tackles, two for loss that resulted in seven lost yards... Recovered a fumble.
   Posted three tackles (one solo) and a half tackle for loss against University of Mary (10/23/10)... Recorded a half tackle for loss in three consecutive games 10/16-10/30, adding five tackles... Recovered a fumble and added two tackles against Upper Iowa (10/2/10).
2009 (RS): Sat out entire season as a redshirt.Â
Prior to BSU: Selected all-state honorable mention at offensive guard and defensive tackle by the Minnesota Associate Press to cap his senior season... All-Central Lakes Conference pick in 2007 and 2008... Owns a share of the state blocked kicks record... A three-sport standout at Apollo High School... Earned all-section honors in both football an wrestling... Placed fifth at the Minnesota State High School Wrestling Tournament as a heavyweight in 2008... Earned all-conference honors in 2007 and 2008... Posted an all-conference finish at the 2008 championships.
