Four-time letter winner in football at Cedar Grove-Belgium High School under head coach Dan Schruers… Named All-State wide receiver… Finalist for the Al Toon Award… Two-time all-region wide receiver, six-time All-Big East Conference as a wide receiver, safety, quarterback and punter… Also named all-area as a quarterback and punter, and earned All-State AP Press Vote… BEC Offensive Player of the Year as a quarterback… Named two-time varsity captain… Selected as CGBHS’s Team MVP and two-time offensive MVP… Helped the Rockets to two BEC Champions… Also lettered in basketball and track & field… Named as the Rockets’ Offensive Player of the Year in basketball.
