Competed in six events and 14 rounds for the Beavers during his junior campaign which was shortened in the spring due to COVID-19... Finished the season with a scoring average of 74.2 for fourth on the team and 14th in the NSIC... Placed third at the Embry-Riddle Invite with a three-round score of 214 (69-73-72), March 8-10... Tied for sixth at the King's Walk Invite with a score of 144 (70-74), Sept. 15... Posted four top-20 finishes during the season... Tied for second on the team with four rounds par or under.

Nelson participated in 8 events and 19 rounds in his second season for the Beavers... Finished third on the team in rounds, fourth with an average of 77.6, and tied for third on the team in top 20 finishes with two... Finished in first place at the Augustana Invitational on September 30, where he shot nine under par (67-68)... Tied for 16th at the BSU Invitational on September 11 (74-75)... Tied for 21st at the NSIC Championships on April 20 (76-78-78)... Currently holds a career average of 77.5.

Participated at eight events and 18 rounds during his freshman season with the Beavers... Finished fifth on the team with a scoring average of 77.3... Totaled two top 20 finishes during the season including a top 10 finish at the BSU Invite, Sept. 11-12, where he tied for ninth with a two-round score of 145 (74-71)... Shot a career-low at the BSU Invite with his only under-par round of the season... Tied for 16th at the SCSU Huskie Invite, Oct. 1-2, with a score of 153 (74-79).

Lettered in golf, basketball, and football during his career at Litchfield High School... Voted the Dragon's Male Athlete of the Year his senior season...
