Ben Corbid

Ben Corbid was hired to lead the Bemidji State Men's Golf program in August of 2025 following the departure of 15-year head coach Ekren Miller.
 
Corbid previously served as the team’s Assistant Coach for the past two seasons at BSU and was a student-athlete for the Beavers from 2018-23. Corbid captained the Beavers in 2022-23 helping the Beavers win the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championship and returned to the NCAA Super Regional as a team for the first time since 2012.
 
A member of the Beaver Men’s Golf program for five seasons as a student-athlete and one as a member of its coaching staff, Corbid knows the program well. He also brings professional experience outside of the BSU ranks after serving as the Head Golf Professional at Headwaters Golf Club in Park Rapids, Minn. The Stillwater, Minn., native also served as a Golf Operation Intern at the world-class Pebble Beach Golf Course in Pebble Beach, Calif.
 
Corbid graduated from Bemidji State with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration and was an All-NSIC Second Team and GCAA All-Academic Team selection during his time as a student-athlete.
