Prior to BSU
Cody Stang comes to Bemidji State after two seasons with the Youngstoen Phantoms of the USHL. Scored 27 goals and 34 assists for 34 points in 106 games at Youngstown.  He capped his USHL career with 18-24=42 points and a team-leading +19 plus/minus rating in 59 games played in 2010-11.  Finished third on the team in scoring (42), tied for third in goals scored (18), second in in assists (24), while leading the team with 10 helpers on the power play. Logged a point in 28 of 58 appearances, including 13 multi-point games and a seaosn-high 2-1=3 points in a 6-3 victory at Indiana (11/13/10). Posted a seaosn-long five-game scoring streak from Dec. 29-Jan. 9 piling up five goals and three asssits during the string. Potted a pair of game-winning goals.
    Was a teammate of fellow newcommer Danny Mattson at Youngstown.

Born Aug. 25, 1990... Cody Patrick Strang is the son of Jerry and Cindy Strang... His father was a professional fastpitch softball play where he earned All-America honors... Is undecided on a major.
