One of seven Beavers to play in all 39 games during the 2021-22 season... One of three captains during the season... Led the Beavers in scoring, third in the CCHA and fifth in the nation with a BSU Division I program record 47 points from 17 goals and 30 assists... His 30 assists during the season was also a DI program record for most assists in a single season... Named to the All-CCHA Second Team following the season... Tied for the team lead with 17 goals which tied for sixth most in the CCHA and his 30 assists were tied for fifth... Averaged 1.21 points per game for fourth in the conference and ninth in the nation... Led the CCHA with 515 face-off wins and had a face-off win percentage of .548 for ninthe in the conference... Had 13 multi-point games during the season including a four-point effort (2g-2a) at Lake Superior State Nov. 12... Tied for second on the team with three game-winning goals and totaled two power-play goals... Led the team with 137 shots on goal and posted a .124 shooting percentage... Finished second on the team with a +8 rating on the ice.. Blocked 15 shots and totaled 41 penalty minutes... Finished his career with 115 career points (51g-64a) to tie for fourth in career scoring during BSU's DI era... His career goals and assists totals each rank fifth in their respective categories for career leaders... Signed a pro contract with the AHL's Cleveland Monsters following the conclusion of the 2021-22 season.

Saw time in 17 games as a junior. Ranked fifth on the team in scoring with 13 points on nine goals, which included one game-winning goal, and four assists. His nine goals was good for second on the team. Played a vital role on BSU's special teams units. He ranked second on the team with five points (4g-1a) and a team-best four goals on the man advantage, while he logged one of BSU's two short-handed goals in 2020-21. Recorded the first of two multi-point games netting two assists, including one on his brother's first collegiate goal, in a 6-3 victory over Michigan Tech Dec.12. Recorded his first collegiate hat trick on a five-point (4g-1a) night at Ferris State Feb. 6. That evening he not only became the first BSU player to record four goals in a game since Luke Erickson achieved the feat Dec. 3, 2005, he was also the first Beaver to log five points in a game since current assistant coach Travis Winter posted a two-goal, three assist night Jan. 6, 2007. Sustained an injury Feb. 12 and missed BSU's next nine games. Made a return to the line up March 12 as BSU opened the postseason and contributed an assist in the Beavers 3-1 victory over Michigan Tech. Finished the season carrying a +8 plus/minus rating to lead all forwards, accumulated 10 blocked shots and totaled 12 penalty minutes.

Sillinger recorded a career-high 34 points (14g-20a) to match Brady for the team’s scoring lead... Seeing time in all 37 games his second season in a Bemidji State sweater, his 20 assists led the team, while his three power-play goals were second only to Brady's NCAA-best 12... Sillinger came on strong as the season rolled on. He assembled a pair of five-game point streaks and recorded 20 points in 13 games between Jan. 3 and Feb. 22, three times posting three points in a single game... In 28 WCHA games, Sillinger recorded 27 points (9g-18a), while his 18 assists in conference play was tied for second among all WCHA skaters... Logged a season-high two goals, including the game-winner in a 4-1 victory over Ferris State (11/16/19). Matched a career-best five shots against Bolwing Green (2/1/20)... Matched a career-high three points with (3a) in a 5-2 win at Northern Michigan (2/15/20)...  Blocked a season-high three shots at Lake Superior State (11/29/19).

Sillinger finished his first season in a Bemidji State sweater fifth on the team in scoring, while leading all BSU newcomers with 19 points, seeing time in each of BSU’s 38 games... His total of 10 goals was good for second on the team and his three game-winners was a team-best... He posted at least a point in 14 games, which included five multi-point nights... He logged a season-long point streak of four games (2g-2a) from Nov. 23 to Dec. 1. BSU was 4-2-2 when he scored a goal... An all-situations player as a rookie, he logged a power-play goal as well as one of BSU’s three short-handed goals in 2018-19... In 28 league games, Sillinger recorded 15 (8g-7a) points to rank fourth among all league rookies, while his eight goals in league play was second among WCHA newcomers... He finished the season with 14 blocked shots.

Prior to BSU
A three-season veteran of the British Columbia Hockey League, Sillinger was a member of the Penticton Vees and was voted as the team's captain in 2018-19... In three BCHL seasons, Sillinger recorded 153 points on 66 goals and 87 assists in 171 games... He led the Vees and ranked sixth in the league in scoring during a 2017-18 season logging 33 goals and 34 assists... His 33 goals was good for fourht in the league, while his eight game-winning tallies was tied for second... In addition, leading Penticton to the BCLA postseason in three consecutive seasons, he scored 11goals and 11 assists in 42 career junior hockey postseason games... Somoza led Pendicton to a BCHL championship in 2016-17.

Personal
Owen Sillinger is the son of Karla and Mike Sillinger and was born September 27, 1997... Owen is a marketing communications major... The older brother of current BSU forward Lukas Sillinger... The tandem became the fifth set of brothers to play together for the Beavers in the NCAA Division I-era, which most-recently includes: Gerry, Leo and Myles Fitzgerald (2014-18)... His father, Mike, played in the National Hockey League for 17 seasons.
