Erickson played four years at Zimmerman High School where she split time between forward and goalkeeper. At Zimmerman she ranks third on the all-time goal scoring list with 11 goals. She also holds the schools for most saves in a season (254), most career saves (458), most shutouts in a season (6), and most career shutouts (8). She was named all-conference her senior year.
