Local product Pecarich will stay home to play for the Beavers after competing at Brainerd High School. The 6-foot-3 guard earned some impressive accolades including two-time First Team All-Conference, two-time First Team MVP, two-time Dispatch Player of the Year, MBCA All-Star, two-time Offensive Player of the Year, two-time Conference Champion and was a 1,000-point scorer in his career. During his junior year, Pecarich averaged 18.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.5 blocks per game. He put together even bigger numbers as a senior averaging 24.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.0 blocks per contest. In addition to competing in basketball, he also lettered twice in tennis.
