High School
A 5-foot-6 guard from Neenah, Wis., she competed at Xavier High School for her first three years and then finished at Neenah High School. Buss showed her range throughout high school earning multiple accolades for her perimeter shooting. Right away as a freshman, Buss was named to the First Team Bay All-Conference and was in the Top-10 Division 3 for three-point challenge. As a sophomore, she was a unanimous First Team Bay All-Conference and again was in the Top-10 Division 3 for three-point challenge. As a junior, Buss was a Second Team Bay All-Conference recipient and was again in the Top-10 Division 3 for three-point challenge. This past season, Buss landed on the Second Team Fox Valley Association All-Conference and was in the Division I three-point challenge. She also participated in the Herd All-Star Game. Buss ended her career scoring over 1,000 points. In addition to earning four letters during her basketball career, Buss also earned a letter competing in track and field. She performed well in the classroom being named to the Dean's List, National Honor Society and Honor Roll. A tradition of playing basketball in college runs in the family. Her mother, Jen, played collegiately at UW-Oshkosh and her father, B.J., played collegiately at UW-Richland.
