Emily Meyer

Emily Meyer serves as the Director of Hockey Operations for the Bemidji State University Women’s Hockey program, where she supports the continued development and success of the Beavers.

A native of Crookston, Minn., Meyer played high school hockey for the Crookston Pirates before continuing her career at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She competed for the Pointers at the NCAA Division III level.

Before joining Bemidji State, Meyer served two seasons as an assistant coach and three seasons as the head girls’ hockey coach at Crookston High School. She guided the Pirates to the 2023 Section 8A championship game and was named the Section 8A Head Coach of the Year in both 2023 and 2024. Following the 2023-24 season, seven Crookston players earned Section 8A postseason honors.

Meyer remains actively involved in the development of girls’ hockey throughout Minnesota. She has worked with Minnesota Hockey’s High Performance 16 and 17 programs as coach and an evaluator, contributing to player identification and development across the state. She has also worked with USA Hockey as a coach at the Girls 15 National Player Development Camp.
Meyer brings a well-rounded background to Bemidji State through her experiences as a collegiate player, head coach and player evaluator. She is committed to developing female student-athletes and helping grow the women’s game throughout Minnesota and beyond.
