2010-11 Women's Ice Hockey
Biography
2009-10 (Junior)
Missed 10 games due to injury and still led the team in power-play goals (6) and game-winning goals (4)...was third on the team in scoring with 18 points (11G, 7A)...her four game winners came against Wayne State (Oct. 30, 2009), Minnesota State (Nov. 7, 2009), North Dakota (Dec. 5, 2009) and once more against Minnesota State on Jan. 9, 2010...her six power-play goals ties her for first for the school record of most power-play goals in a single season...the trio of Johnson, Annie Bauerfeld, and Erin Cody accounted for almost half of the offensive production for the Beavers.
2008-09 (Sophomore)
Had a breakout sophomore campaign, exploding for 10 goals and 11 assists for 21 points...played in all 36 games...finished second on the team in goals and points, and third in assists...lit the lamp five times on the power-play, and once short-handed...scored the game-winning goal against Minnesota State (Jan. 10, 2009)...notched goals against every WCHA opponent except one...recorded a career-high two points in three different games.
2007-08 (Freshman)
Johnson notched one goal and three assists for four points...assisted on the game-winning goal in 3-2 win over Vermont for first career point (Dec. 30, 2007)...scored first-collegiate goal against St. Cloud State (Jan. 5, 2008)...recorded assists against both Minnesota Duluth (Jan. 19, 2008) and Minnesota State (Feb. 9, 2008).
Prior to BSU
Johnson was a three-time Missota all-conference performer and a five-time letterwinner during her prep career at Farmington High School...was a two-year captain and during her senior season she helped lead the Tigers to a section championship and a second-place finish in the Class A Minnesota State Tournament where she was named to the Class A All-Tournament Team...led the state in scoring with 98 points (58 goals and 40 assists) her senior season and was fourth in the state her junior season with 93 points (49 goals and 44 assists)...was named to the Pioneer Press All-State Team her junior and senior seasons and was a Ms. Hockey Top Ten Finalist her senior season...she was part of the Midwest Predators U19 Team from 2004-06...she garnered numerous awards such as Star Tribune Athlete of the Week, Pioneer Press Playmaker of the Week, and Kare 11 Athlete of the Week...she finished her career at Farmington with 148 goals and 143 assists good for 291 points in 165 games played...she also excelled in the classroom as she was named to the MGHCA Academic All-State team her senior season.
