Played and started in all 20 games for Bemidji State University... Played a total of 934 minutes... Totaled two assists and two points... Took six shots, four of which were shots on goal... Posted her first collegiate point as an assist in a 3-0 victory at Northern State (Oct. 6).
2016 (Junior) Played in each of the Beavers' 20 matches as a sophomore reserve... Recorded one shot... Averaged over 22 minutes per appearance.

Prior to BSU: Engel came to Bemidji State after a year at Anoka Ramsey Community College, where she was named as a First-Team All-American, First-Team All-Region XIII and her team’s most valuable player… Prior to her community college career, Engel had a four-year prep soccer career at Maple Grove Senior High School… Earned All-North Suburban Conference honors and was named the Crimson’s defensive MVP.
