Recorded a record of 1-and-16 in singles play, playing in the No. 4 (1-8) and 5 (0-8) singles spot. Won her match against Upper Iowa in a shutout to help the Beavers win 4-3. In doubles play, the pairing of Nelson and Emilia Sand went 1-7 in the No. 2 doubles spot winning their match against Sioux Falls. Nelson was paired with Laura Burge for six matches, Nicoleta Anestiadi for two and Lexi Leitner for one.

Nelson earned a 2-12 singles record during her sophomore season... Solo wins came from a marathon match versus Tasha Achermann of Minnesota Crookston and a quick match against Kaitlyn Berreau of Bethany Lutheran College... Nelson and Lexi Leitner marked two long matches during their .500 season (5-5)... The duo shutout opponents in three sets... Nelson was matched with Nico Anestiadi for a single doubles match versus Bethany Lutheran College where the pairing won in a shutout... Nelson also paired with Taylor Offerdahl for three matches during the season... The duo of Nelson and Offerdahl went 0-3 on the season.

2021 (Fr)
A regular in BSU's line up as a doubles player, she posted a 4-7 record, which included a 4-4 mark when paring with Hannah Peterson to make up the Beavers' No. 3 doubles duo... She also played four singles matches as a freshman recording a 2-2 mark in BSU's No. 6 singles position.

High School
Nelson came to Bemidji State after a successful prep career at Lincoln High School… As a member of the Prowlers’ girl’s tennis team Johnson was a four-time letter winner… A competitor at the Section 8A meet as a freshman and junior, she broke through in 2019… As the section doubles champion, she earned a Minnesota State High School League berth as both an individual and member of the Prowlers, which advanced to the state meet as a team… Along with her doubles partner Khloe Lund, Nelson battled into the state class A quarterfinals before her prep tennis career came to an end… A three-sport athlete, she also won three letters competing for the LHS girl’s hockey team and four as a member of the Prowler track and field team… A four-year honor student at LHS, Nelson was a member of the National Honor Society for her junior and season years... In addition, she helped the Prowlers’ girl’s tennis team earn All-Academic Gold team recognition in 2018 and 2019.

Born Sept. 11, 2001, she is the daughter of Jana and Jeff Nelson... Majoring in exercise science with a minor in psychology at BSU.
