Competed in 11 meets as a freshman throws athlete, appearing in the shot put 11 times, weight throw 7 times and hammer throw twice… Recorded 3 top-5 finishes (2 in shot put, 1 in weight throw)… Placed 4th in the shot put at the Twin Ports Open (Jan. 17)… Logged a pair of top-5 finishes at the Cobber Open (Jan. 24), taking 4th in the shot put and 5th in the weight throw… Placed 17th in the hammer throw at the Grand View Viking Classic (April 24)… Competed in the shot put at the NSIC Outdoor Championship (May 9) and placed 27th.
