Competed in four meets during the indoor season... Totaled three top-six finishes in the 200m dash including an event win with a personal record time of 26.02 at the UND Tune-Up... Took fifth in the 60m dash with a time of 8.05 at the Bison Open... Competed in nine events during the outdoor season... Opened the outdoor season with a personal record of 25.73 in the 200m dash, taking 11th at the USD Early Bird... Set a personal record with a sixth-place finish in the 400m dash with a time of 1:00.69 at the Ron Masanz Classic... Set a personal record in the 100m dash with a time of 12.33 at the Deb Schulz Open before eventually taking fourth in the finals... Part of 4x100m relay team that ran the program's eighth-best time of 47.47, which finished fourth to earn five points at the 2022 NSIC Outdoor Championships... Also part of 4x100m relay that ran the program's fifth-best time of 47.23 during the preliminary round at the Drake Relays... Also part of 4x400m relay team that set the program's seventh-best time of 4:00.21, taking second at the Deb Schulz Open... Totaled nine top-10 and six top-five finishes... Ranked 14th in the NSIC in the 100m dash.

Competed in four indoor meets and seven outdoor meets... Set indoor personal records in the 60m dash and 200m dash at the Fred Baker Triangular... Recorded three top-five finishes indoors... Scored points for BSU as part of the 4x100m relay team that finished eighth at the 2021 NSIC Outdoor Championships... Totaled four top-five finishes in the 100m and 200m dashes outdoors... Set outdoor personal records in the 100m, 200m and 400m dashes.

2019-20 (Fr)
Did not compete in the outdoor season due to COVID-19.

High School
A four-time letter winner in track and field at Tartan High School... Earned four event wins during her junior outdoor season and 10 top-five finishes... Set personal record marks in the triple jump (7th/32-feet-5-inches) and the 200-meter dash (6th/27.06) at the 2018 Metro East Conference Championships... Set a personal record with her fifth-place time of 12.70 in the 100m dash at the 2018 Minnesota State 4AA Championships... A four-time letter winner in basketball and a two-time letter winner in soccer at THS... Will also join the women’s basketball program at BSU.

Born Oct. 3, 2001 and is the daughter of Otoro Ekereke and Jennifer Steen... Ekereke’s mother played basketball at Minnesota State University Moorhead... Was an “A” and “B” Honor Roll student during her junior and senior years and is a nursing major at BSU.
