Allison Welch joined the Bemidji State athletic training staff in 2026. She comes to Bemidji State after earning her Master of Science degree in Athletic Training at Texas Christian University and Bachelor of Science and Art degrees in Exercise Science and Psychology.
Prior to joining the Beaver athletic training staff, Welch served as an Intern Athletic Trainer at the University of Tulsa where she provided full-time coverage for the women's tennis team and helped with the football team. She also served as an Intern Athletic Trainer at the University of Tennesse where she oversaw the health care and rehabilitation of 100-plus Division I student-athletes by designing individualized return-to-play programs for post-surgical and complex injuries.Â
Welch is a NATA-BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, American Heart Association CPR, AED and First Aid certified, member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, SASTM certified and Cognitive and Emotial Strategies for Pain certified.
