Charlie Olson joined the BSU Men’s Hockey staff after working with longtime professional coach Martin Raymond at Winona Senior High and Cotter Schools. He focused on pre-game scouting, video analysis, and defensive systems, helping the program earn three consecutive winning seasons for the first time in Winona Senior High history, while leading penalty kill units that posted 84% and 82.2% success rates. A Winona, Minn., native, Olson played two years of junior hockey and comes from a Beaver family—his brother Andrew, a former BSU football player, and sister-in-law Tami Jo are both alumni from the class of 2016. His parents, Jon and Betsy, still reside in Winona.
