Ivory Kelly-Martin enters his first season at Bemidji State in 2025, taking over leading the running backs.
Kelly-Martin joins the Beavers after spending the past two seasons at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kan. where he was the assistant running backs coach this past season and wide receivers coach the year prior. Kelly-Martin assisted with travel planning and weekly schedules while recruiting in Kansas.
Prior to Baker University, Kelly-Martin was a fitness advisor and personal trainer at Genesis Health Clubs in Lawrence, Kan. In the summer of 2021, he served as an intern on the coaching staff for Redzone Football Academy in North Liberty, Iowa.
A native of Plainfield, Ill., Kelly-Martin graduated from the University of Iowa in 2022 with a Bachelors Degree in Sports and Recreational Management with a focus in business. While at Iowa, he was a football team captain in 2020 and 2021. During his time at running back with the Hawkeyes, Kelly-Martin accumulated 44 games played, 181 rushing attempts for 804 yards and six touchdowns. He averaged 18.3 yards per game with 37.9 per game in his sophomore season. He also grabbed 25 receptions for 199 yards and a touchdown. He was also a member of the Hawkeyes' 2021 Players Council and earned the Golden Herky Brave Space Award the same year. Kelly-Martin was recognized for his efforts and improvements in diversity, equity and inclusion during his time at Iowa.
Kelly-Martin graduated from Baker University in the Spring of 2025 with his Masters Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Management.
