Jake Bluhm is in his sixth year at Bemidji State but currently in his first year as the Beaver Pride Coordinator. Some of his main responsibilities include coordinating different fund-raising events throughout the year, organizing and supervising all the fund-raising events for athletics and the sales of hockey season tickets.
Bluhm began his post-high school hockey career in Alaska where he played for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs from 2001-2004. He then continued on to Bemidji State where he played for the Beaver men’s hockey team from 2004-2008, playing in 115 games. He graduated in May of 2008 with a degree in sports management along with his coaching certificate. Afterward he continued his education at BSU as a graduate assistant with event management and the athletic department.
The Rochester, Minn. native is now currently pursuing his master’s degree in sports studies at BSU. He graduated from Red Wing High School in 2001.
