BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University volleyball team will be traveling to the University of Minnesota, Crookston for a Tuesday match at 6 p.m.

The Beavers (3-20, 2-13 NSIC) will be facing the Golden Eagles (3-20, 2-13 NSIC) for the second time this season. In their first meeting Minnesota Crookston took the match in four sets in Bemidji.

Junior
Hallie Mertz leads the Beavers in many stats this season. She has 209 kills, 20 aces and 158 digs, the most for each stat.
Lauren Sitter and
Ashley East round out the top three for kills with 132 and 102 respectively. For aces
Emily Wade is second on the team with 16 and
Ashley Crowl has 15.Â

Assisting on the attacks this season has been
Hally Holker and
Emily Wade. Together they have assisted on 644 points with Holker on 333 and Wade with 311.Â

On defense, behind Mertz is
Lauren Justesen who has tallied 154 digs in her 39 sets played. JuniorÂ
Rylie Bjerklie leads BSU at the net with 42 blocks, while senior
Rylee Pompa has been a part of 37.

This is the first of three road matches for Beavers this week. They will continue action on Friday and Saturday as they take on Minot State University and University of Mary.Â
