BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University women's soccer team finishes the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference regular season at the University Minnesota Crookston Thursday, Oct. 27. The Beavers are unbeaten in their last 10 games and have won seven of the last 10 now enter the final game of the 2022 season.
The Beavers have also reentered the United Soccer Coaches top-25 poll and are ranked No. 21 after a seven-week hiatus.
The Beavers (10-2-5 NSIC) final game before the NSIC Women's Soccer Tournament will be played at 2 p.m., Thursday against the Golden Eagles (2-14-1, 1-12-1 NSIC). A live stream the game can be found,

The Beavers have fared extremely well against the Golden Eagles in the past, winning the last 22 meetings. In the last meeting on Nov. 5, 2021 BSU earned victory with a five-goal shutout including goals from
Sara Wendt,
Halle Peterson and
Megan Dahl.
Wendt has been on a hot streak in the second half of the season and leads the team with nine goals and two assists for 20 points this season. She leads the NSIC in game-winning goals (5) and is second in goals.
Allyson Smith and
Erin Becker round out the top three for goals scored this season with five and four, respectively.
The defense has been strong for BSU with fifth-year senior
Megan Dahl leading the way. Dahl been awarded NSIC Defensive Player of the week twice this season. Bemidji State has allowed just one goal during the month of October and has earned six shutouts.
In goal has been senior
Alyssa Stumbaugh who has started 11 of the 17 games for the Beavers. Stumbaugh has a save percentage of .852, allowing 0.82 goals a game with 52 saves. Lately
Georgiana Harber has seen time in goal and has started the last three matches. Harber has a record of 4-0-2 with all four victories being shutouts while making 12 saves for a save percent of .857.
