COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Bemidji State University Women's Hockey team fell 5-0 to No. 1/2 Ohio State University Friday night in game one of their Western Collegiate Hockey Association series.

The Buckeyes (11-1-1, 11-1-1 WCHA) opened the game by scoring two goals in the first period and then slammed the door on the Beavers (3-11-1, 1-10-0 WCHA) in the third period by scoring three more.

Hannah Hogenson made a total of 21 saves in the game but falls to 1-11-1 on the season.

The Beavers and Buckeyes will play the series finale tomorrow afternoon at the OSU Ice Rink and will meet at 2:00 p.m. CT for puck drop.
