MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Women's Hockey team fell 5-2 Saturday afternoon at University of St. Thomas. The Beavers fall to 4-17-1 (1-15-0 WCHA) on the season.

Claire Vekich scored a power-play goal for the Beavers in the first period while sophomore
Shelby Breiland scored an unassisted goal in the third period for the Beavers' lone goals in the game.

Bemidji State out-shot the Tommies 30-23 in the game with junior goaltender
Hannah Hogenson making 18 saves for the Beavers.

The Beavers scored on their lone power play of the game while their penalty kill unit killed off all three of the Tommies power play chances.

Bemidji State will now head into the Christmas break and will have 26 days off until its next series when it travels to University of Minnesota Duluth, Jan. 13-14.
