MANKATO, Minn. (Myers Field House) -- Senior Analise Fabre and the 4x400-meter relay team shattered their previous records for Bemidji State University indoor track & field as the team completed the 2022 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships Saturday in Mankato, Minn. The Beavers garnered 10 points on the final day of the conference meet, including a fourth-place finish by the relay team, hosted by Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Fabre finished ninth in the triple jump with a mark of 37-feet-11.25-inches, besting her previous mark by eight inches. The 4x400m relay team of Rachel Myers, Janice Cole, Abby Syverson and Maryse Mbenoun took fourth in the event with a BSU record time of 3:57.09. The group totaled five points for BSU while beating their previous record by over two seconds.
Senior Maryse Mbenoun entered the meet as the reigning 600-meter run champion and finished this season's meet sixth in the event with a time of 1:38.30. Mbenoun added three points to BSU's total with the finish while eighth-place finishes from Aneesa Tucker in the pentathlon and Tierra Doss in the shot put added one each. Tucker finished eighth in the pentathlon with a score of 3,092 while Doss took eighth in the shot put with a mark of 43-02.25.
As a team, Bemidji State finished 12th among the NSIC's 15 teams with 10.33 points. Minnesota State earned the conference title with a score of 243, followed by the University of Mary with a score of 115.
