MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Bemidji State University volleyball team fell to Minnesota State University, Moorhead 3-0 (22-25, 13-25, 15-25) Saturday afternoon in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play. Junior
Hallie Mertz paced the Beavers with 10 kills in the loss.

Mertz was followed by
Rylee Pompa,
Rylie Bjerklie,
Lauren Sitter,
Ashley Crowl and
Zayda Priebe who each added three kills.

Mertz also collected 12 digs on defense to record her first double-double of the season while
Annie Hopp also totaled 12 digs to lead the team.

MSU Moorhead hit .241 in the match compared to .079 by the Beavers and the Dragos were led by the duo of Teeya Doppler and Jadyn Feist who each totaled 11 kills.

Bemidji State will now return home for its first home matches of the season and will host University of Mary Friday, Sept. 16 and then Minot State University Saturday in part of homecoming festivities.
