BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University volleyball team hosts its first home matches of the 2022 season and will face University of Mary and Minot State University in Bemidji, Minn., this weekend. The Beavers (1-9, 0-2 NSIC) start the weekend with the Marauders (1-9, 0-2 NSIC) Friday, September 16. They then face the Beavers (0-9, 0-2 NSIC) from Minot State Saturday.

The weekend matches begin Friday at 6:00 p.m., against Mary from the BSU Gym followed by Minot State at 5:00 p.m., Saturday. Live Stats and a live stream can be foundÂ

The Beavers are paced by juniorÂ
Hallie Mertz who has totaled 100 kills and averages 2.70 k/s. She is followed by sophomoresÂ

Lauren Sitter who each have 51 kills through the team's first ten matches. BSU is hitting .112 as a team and are led by Sitter who is hitting .204.

The Beavers have split setting duties between sophomoreÂ
Emily Wade and freshman
Hally Holker both tallying 144 assists through 37 sets.

On defense, junior
Lauren Justesen leads BSU with 110 digs and is 10
th in the NSIC with a 3.79 d/s average. Junior
Rylie Bjerklie leads BSU at the net with 11 blocks while Sitter follows with nine.
