WAYNE, Neb. – The Bemidji State University women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw Sunday afternoon in Wayne, Neb. The Beavers (4-2-3, 3-1-2 NSIC) tied Wayne State College after
Erin Becker scored in the 75
th minute but a penalty-kick goal in the 86
th for the Wildcats (1-5-3, 1-3-2 NSIC) salvaged the draw.
Bemidji State out-shot the Wildcats 7-3 in the game including 20-5 in total shots while also earning nine corner kicks to just one for WSC.
Becker scored her second goal of the season for the Beavers and is now second on the team with six points while
Megan Majewski earned her second assist of the season on the goal.
Senior
Georgiana Harber made her second start of the season and made two saves while her counterpart Hayden Wallace made six saves.
Bemidji State now sits third in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference with a 3-1-2 record and travels to University of Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State University next weekend.
