DULUTH, Minn. – Bemidji State University fifth-year senior
Erin Becker scored in the 89
th minute to nab victory for the Bemidji State Women's Soccer team Friday night in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action in Duluth, Minn. Becker scored her third goal of the season for the Beavers (5-2-3, 4-1-2 NSIC) to tie for the team lead.

Fifth-year senior defender
Megan Dahl started the scoring for the Beavers with her first goal of the season in the 36
th minute to put the Beavers up 1-0. After the half, Minnesota Duluth (3-5-2, 2-3-2 NSIC) tied the game in the 70
th minute with a goal from Eliana Maricano for her first goal of the game.

Just when things looked like the game would end in a draw, fifth-year senior
Sara Wendt found space in the Bulldogs' box and had her shot hit the post and deflected right to the left foot of Becker who batted it into the wide-open net for the go-ahead goal with just 1:24 to play.

Bemidji State and Minnesota Duluth tied in shots with each team posting five shots on goal while UMD totaled six corner kicks to just one for the Beavers.

Alyssa Stumbaugh earned her fourth victory in net by making four saves in the game.

The Beavers continue play on the road and travel to St. Cloud, Minn., to face St. Cloud State University Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
